"SOLAR FURNACE DEVELOPMENT"

WHY THIS COMPANY ?

The creation of the S.A.R.L. SOLAR FURNACE DEVELOPMENT is based on the shared will, by four Engineers, Chercheurs, and company heads, to develop the use of the Solar furnaces, particularly in the Craft industry and the small Industry of the Tropical Countries. Indeed, in a great number of countries located on the tropical belts, the firewood is practically the only source of energy available in rural zones.

Because of the demographic explosion, the increase in population goes much more quickly than the growth of trees, and the firewood resources do not have any more time to be reconstituted.

What of course, takes part in a very serious manner in deforestation and the turning into a desert. In these countries where the sun is so abundant that it is sometimes a plague, which burns the ground and the Men, it is now advisable to regard the sun either as an enemy, but quite to the contrary like a very interesting chance of development.
IT IS THUS INTELLIGENT TO USE SOLAR FURNACES, TO REPLACE THE USE OF WOOD, AND PRESERVER FRAGILE NATURE

A Solar furnace, it is before all a whole source of energy at high temperatures, 250°C with 3000°C, completely nonpolluting, autonomous and inexhaustible! Installed on a village scale a solar furnace will make it possible to cook the potteries, the plates to eat, the bread, building materials, to melt whatever metal to make pots or tools of them to cultivate....

The solar furnace of Mount-Louis being available, we assembled a project of experimentation and development, " Solar " Artisanale production, in partnership with CNRS and collaboration with the commune. This project was concretized by the creation of the S.A.R.L. SOLAR FURNACE DEVELOPMENT, July 1, 1993.
